Hong Kong payments firm YeahPay explores agentic payments
At MAG Payments Summit Singapore 2026, YeahPay, the international payments brand of Hong Kong-listed payment technology firm Yeahka, said AI shopping tools are pushing payment providers beyond processing transactions and toward integrated merchant services across product discovery, ordering, and payments.
YeahPay said it is exploring agentic payment protocols, identity verification, and delegated authorization. The company has also begun proof-of-concept collaborations with international financial institutions.
Fynix, an AI services brand of Fushi Technology under Yeahka, presented a pilot for Vintage Studio, a Singapore-based beauty business. The pilot connects customer inquiries, recommendations, bookings, and payment requests through platforms such as WhatsApp. According to the release, the system served 97 customers over the past 30 days.
Major card networks are also moving into agentic commerce, while Mastercard is marketing Agent Pay.
Separately, Stripe allows business in Singapore to accept payments through WhatsApp. However, the announcement does not indicate whether the Vintage Studio pilot uses Stripe’s integration.
