Honda starts production of electric SUV in Thailand
Honda Motor has initiated production of its e:N1 electric SUV in Thailand, making it the first Japanese automaker to manufacture passenger electric vehicles in the country.
However, Toyota Motor also manufactures a small batch of commercial EVs. The Honda vehicles, rolling out of Thailand’s Prachinburi plant, are expected to be sold in the country from the first quarter of 2024.
