Green SM has launched its all-electric taxi service in Bekasi, Indonesia, expanding its operations beyond Jakarta.

Green SM, operated by GSM, provides EV taxi rides that can be booked through its mobile app, and its fleet in Bekasi uses VinFast vehicles.

The company said the move supports Bekasi’s smart city strategy and aims to improve connections to local transport options, including TransJakarta, LRT Jabodebek, and Commuter Line stations.

Bekasi is a major industrial area where hundreds of thousands commute to Jakarta daily.

Green SM previously launched in Jakarta and plans to expand to Surabaya and Makassar.
