Greek AI coding startup Bitloops nets $1.2m pre-seed
Bitloops, an Athens-based company specializing in AI-assisted coding tools, has raised €1 million (US$1.2 million) in a pre-seed funding round.
The round was led by Eleven Ventures, with participation from Corallia Ventures and angel investors.
The funding will be used to enhance the platform’s capabilities, expand the engineering team, and add features like design system support and responsive logic.
Bitloops’ AI platform automates the conversion of design files into production-ready code.
Founded by Vasilis and Sergio, Bitloops has been bootstrapping its AI-powered solutions to streamline frontend development.
This funding will help refine its technology and scale operations.

🧠 Food for thought
1️⃣ Bitloops enters crowded AI coding landscape with specialized focus
The €1M funding for Bitloops comes as the AI coding tools market has expanded dramatically, with specialized tools for specific developer needs.
In 2025, the market includes at least 10 major AI coding assistants, with pricing typically ranging from $10-35/month across tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and Tabnine 1.
Bitloops faces direct competition from established design-to-code tools like v0 by Vercel, which already converts Figma designs into React components with pricing starting at $20/month 2.
What distinguishes Bitloops’ approach is their emphasis on production-ready code that integrates with existing systems rather than just prototype generation, addressing a persistent pain point mentioned in multiple AI tool evaluations.
The design-to-code segment faces unique challenges as most existing tools generate code that “may require refactoring for production readiness” 2, precisely the gap Bitloops aims to fill with their component-driven approach.
2️⃣ Frontend development increasingly shaped by AI automation and design system integration
Bitloops’ focus on converting designs to reusable components aligns with broader industry shifts toward component-driven development and design systems.
