Grammarly raises $1b from General Catalyst
Grammarly, an AI assistant platform based in San Francisco, has secured US$1 billion in growth financing from General Catalyst.
The funding follows its acquisition of productivity tool Coda earlier this year.
It will be used to expand sales and marketing efforts, pursue strategic acquisitions, and grow its customer base.
Grammarly currently serves over 40 million daily users, with annual revenues exceeding US$700 million.
