Grammarly has acquired the email client Superhuman as part of its strategy to enhance AI-driven productivity tools.

Founded by Rahul Vohra and team, Superhuman had raised over US$114 million from investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, IVP, and Tiger Global.

Its last known valuation was US$825 million.

Vohra and other Superhuman staff will join Grammarly to help build AI email agents, reinforcing email as a key user need.

Superhuman recently introduced AI features for scheduling, replies, and email organization, which Grammarly aims to expand.

The deal follows Grammarly’s 2024 acquisition of productivity software Coda and a US$1 billion investment from General Catalyst in May 2025.
