Grab will require employees to work from the office five days a week beginning 2 December in a decision announced during a town hall meeting on Thursday.

The initiative, as outlined in an internal email from CEO Anthony Tan, emphasized the importance of face-to-face interaction for driving growth and meeting the company’s strategic goals.

An adjustment period has been set until 2 December, allowing employees time to arrange personal obligations.

Grab may permit flexible hours under urgent circumstances upon request.

Earlier strict office attendance policies had prepared some employees for this change.
