Grab adds SAP concur integration for business expenses
Grab said on September 14 that Grab For Business has integrated with SAP Concur’s Concur Expense for customers in Southeast Asia.
The feature lets eligible ride, meal, and delivery transactions made through Grab’s Work Profile sync automatically with Concur Expense.
Grab cited Global Business Travel Association data that said Asia Pacific business travel spending could reach US$700.9 billion in 2026.
It added that Indonesia’s business travel market is projected to grow 12.6%.
Grab cited research it conducted with GBTA. It said 95% of business travelers in Southeast Asia use ride-hailing for work trips, but only 58% of companies have a formal mechanism to manage that spending.
The same research found 57% of business travelers delay filing expense reports or reimbursement claims, or see the process as an administrative burden.
Nearly half of respondents spend more than 20 minutes completing one expense report after each business trip.
Details such as the survey sample, respondent profile, fieldwork period, and the specific Southeast Asian markets covered by the integration were not disclosed in the materials reviewed.
The launch adds a feature already available in managed travel.
Uber for Business is already integrated with SAP Concur through its App Center.
