GoTo Group has converted its digital wallet, GoPay, into a standalone app in an attempt to broaden its customer base and bring more financial services to Indonesia.

Previously, GoPay was only available through the Gojek and Tokopedia apps, which have collectively been downloaded by over 200 million users in Indonesia.

While the move does raise questions about GoTo’s super app strategy, it reflects the company’s flexibility in catering to its diverse market segment.
