Google’s India public policy head resigns
Google India’s head of public policy, Sreenivasa Reddy, has resigned, the company confirmed on Feb.13.
This marks the second departure from this critical policy role in two years within the key market.
Reddy, who previously worked with Microsoft and Apple, joined Google in September 2023.
He was appointed during a time when the company faced several antitrust cases while expanding its services, including payment platforms and YouTube.
An internal memo states that Iarla Flynn, Google’s head of policy for northern Europe, will temporarily lead public policy efforts for India.
