Google said on October 14 at Singapore International Cyber Week that it is working with the Singapore government on two cybersecurity initiatives.

These include its Fairwind program and an on-device Android scam-detection model that analyzes conversations locally rather than in the cloud.

Under Fairwind, cyber defenders will get access to Google tools including Gemini 4 Argon and CodeMender to identify and patch software vulnerabilities.

Separately, Google DeepMind and the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech Singapore) are developing the Android scam-detection model.

Publicly available materials also show that Google has a Phone app support page on scam detection and a March 4, 2025, security blog post on AI-powered features to help protect users from scams.

However, the available search excerpts do not show whether those features are part of the Singapore project or where they have been deployed.
