Google Cloud to spend $750m on AI consultancy push
Google Cloud will spend US$750 million to help consulting firms such as McKinsey, Accenture, and Deloitte build and sell agentic AI projects for enterprise clients using Gemini, with support from Google engineers.
DeepMind will give selected partners early access to Gemini models in exchange for feedback before launch, while funding covers training and AI agent development programs.
The move adds to a broader push by major AI companies to work through consultancies, with OpenAI and Anthropic announcing similar partnerships, while McKinsey plans a unit enterprise AI work.
