Google Cloud, Palo Alto ink multibillion-dollar AI deal
Palo Alto Networks and Google Cloud have expanded their partnership to enhance security for businesses developing and deploying AI solutions in the cloud.
Palo Alto will integrate its AI security platform Prisma AIRS with Google Cloud’s infrastructure to protect AI workloads, applications, and developer tools on services like Vertex AI.
The collaboration will also involve deeper integration of Palo Alto’s firewalls and secure access services with Google Cloud, improving security across hybrid and multicloud environments.
Under a new multibillion-dollar agreement, Palo Alto will move key internal workloads to Google Cloud and use Google’s AI platforms for its products.
The partnership comes after findings that 99% of surveyed organizations experienced at least one attack on their AI infrastructure in the past year.
Palo Alto and Google Cloud have previously completed over 75 product integrations and reported US$2 billion in sales through the Google Cloud Marketplace.
