Google brings Gemini AI to Chrome in Asia-Pacific markets

Google will bring Gemini in Chrome to Australia, Indonesia, Japan, and the Philippines as it expands the AI assistant in its browser.

The rollout also covers Singapore, South Korea, and Vietnam, with desktop and iOS support in every market except Japan.

In Chrome, Gemini can answer questions across tabs and connect with Google apps for tasks such as drafting emails and checking location details.

Google launched the feature in the US in January and added India, Canada, and New Zealand in March, while testing advanced tools in the US.
