Global tech firm Yango Group launches $20m venture fund

Yango Group, a global technology company, has launched Yango Ventures, a corporate venture fund to support startups in high-growth regions such as Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan (MENAP).

The fund will initially provide US$20 million to early-stage startups in sectors including Online-to-Offline (O2O), B2B SaaS, and fintech.

Yango Ventures will focus on startups in the seed to series B funding stages. The goal is to combine financial support with Yango Group’s industry experience and network to facilitate growth.

The fund is designed to expand as entrepreneurial ecosystems in these regions develop.

Yango Group has indicated that its team of experts, experienced in fields like mobility, fintech, and AI, will guide startups in their growth efforts.
