Global enterprise AI startup Brahma raises $150m

Brahma AI, an enterprise AI company, said it has raised US$150 million in a round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management to expand its platform in media and entertainment, sports, healthcare, and advertising.

Multiples invested US$100 million through preferred shares. Brahma AI also said it has received a further US$100 million in investor interest.

A US$2 billion valuation has been reported, though Brahma AI’s announcement did not disclose a valuation.

Brahma AI said its customers include Warner Bros., the National Basketball Association, and Mayo Clinic. Its strategic distribution partners include Google, Hakuhodo, and DNEG.

Founder and CEO Prabhu Narasimhan said the company is working toward interactive digital humans and building Brahma AI to be model-agnostic, with a focus on security, authenticity, and provenance.
