General Catalyst leads Commure’s $70m funding round
Commure, a California-based healthcare AI company, said on May 19 that it raised US$70 million in a funding round led by General Catalyst at a US$7 billion post-money valuation.
The company said its software uses agentic AI, which can act with limited human input, to automate healthcare administrative work such as billing and payment tracking, and is used by more than 500 healthcare organizations across 3,000 sites.
Commure said it will use the money to expand its revenue cycle and practice management platform and build AI infrastructure for healthcare markets outside the US.
