General Catalyst-backed Magma raises $8m series A for expansion
Magma, an India-based industrial B2B solutions provider, has closed its series A round with a total of US$8 million raised.
The latest extension adds US$3 million to a previously announced US$5 million series A round from April 2025.
Investors in the extension include Capria Ventures and Avinya Ventures, which increased their commitments, as well as GVFL Ltd. and AVNM Ventures.
Magma has now raised US$11.3 million to date, including a US$3.3 million seed round.
Backers of Magma include General Catalyst, Titan Capital, Capria Ventures, Accion Venture Lab, Avinya Ventures, and WEH Ventures.
Magma plans to use the new funding to expand operations in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Telangana, and to develop new factory-focused solutions.
The company serves over 250 industrial customers across sectors such as ceramics, chemicals, paper, polymers, plastics, and packaging.
