India-based Phot.AI, an AI-driven creative automation platform, has raised US$2.7 million in seed funding. The round was led by Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Together Fund, AC Ventures, and over 50 angel investors.

The funds will be used for team expansion, research and development, and launching its new copilot feature.

Founded in 2023 by Venus Dhuria, Aneesh Rayancha, and Akshit Raja, Phot.AI helps ecommerce businesses automate design tasks like product listings, ads, and social media visuals.

Its AI tools optimize images for different platforms, improving efficiency and reducing costs.

The platform has over 3 million sign-ups globally and is already used by more than 25 businesses for photo editing and workflow automation.

Phot.AI has also participated in initiatives like the AWS Generative AI Accelerator and the JioGenNext program, which support scaling AI-driven solutions for ecommerce design.
