Geely Holding Group, a Chinese automotive manufacturer, has set a goal to achieve annual vehicle sales exceeding 5 million by 2027.

This target represents a 79% increase from its sales figures of 2.79 million units in 2023.

To meet this goal, Geely plans to consolidate its passenger car brands into two divisions: Geely Auto for mass-market vehicles and Zeekr Technology for the premium segment.

The company will also focus its research and development on seven critical areas, such as vehicle architecture, smart driving technologies, and battery systems.
