Funding Societies secures $25m in equity investment
Southeast Asian digital finance platform Funding Societies has raised US$25 million in equity investment from Cool Japan Fund (CJF).
This is CJF’s first investment in a fintech company based in the region.
The investment will enable Funding Societies to improve small and medium enterprise financing in its existing markets, which include Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The company also aims to enhance its payments business, which began its diversification efforts in 2022.
