Nishad Singh, a former FTX executive, was sentenced to 3 years of supervised release by a US judge.

He was involved in the misappropriation of about US$8 billion in customer funds.

Singh had pleaded guilty to six counts of fraud and conspiracy.

His cooperation included testifying against Sam Bankman-Fried, resulting in Bankman-Fried’s conviction and a 25-year sentence.

During the hearing, Singh expressed regret for his actions and acknowledged the harm caused.
