Microsoft might face a probe by the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over its investment in OpenAI.

The FTC is scrutinizing whether Microsoft’s financial support in the ChatGPT developer, worth over US$10 billion, breaks antitrust laws. However, Microsoft maintains that it doesn’t control OpenAI and only shares in its profits.
