Foxconn unit Ennoconn’s Q2 revenue jumps 38% on AI
Taiwanese industrial computer maker Ennoconn said June revenue rose 57% year on year to NT$17.66 billion (US$551.4 million).
Its second-quarter revenue increased 37.8% to a record NT$47.8 billion (US$1.49 billion), as demand for physical AI applications boosted sales.
Ennoconn became a Foxconn subsidiary in 2007 and provides industrial internet of things, embedded technology, software, and systems used in retail, finance, and manufacturing.
Ennoconn said growth came from its industrial internet of things business, driven by smart retail demand, while its software and solutions business returned to growth.
Its smart factory and facility management business posted triple-digit growth, supported by semiconductor fabrication plant projects in North America, though it did not identify specific projects, customers, or sites.
The company said it has more than NT$215 billion (US$6.72 billion) in orders across those businesses.
An official said second-quarter profitability is expected to improve from a year earlier, and first-half earnings are also likely to grow.
