Foxconn posts $67.8b revenue in Q3 on strong AI demand

Hon Hai Precision Industry, a key server producer for Nvidia, reported an 11% rise in quarterly sales to NT$2.1 trillion (US$67.8 billion) for the three months ending September, matching analyst expectations.

The Taiwan-based company, also known as Foxconn, has seen increased demand for AI infrastructure as global investment in server and chip suppliers continues after the rise of generative AI.

Hon Hai continues to rely on Apple for a large share of its revenue, but growth in consumer electronics has slowed while server demand grows.

The company expects its server revenue to more than double in the September quarter, while its consumer electronics business remains flat.

Hon Hai is also expanding AI server production at its campuses in Wisconsin and Texas.

The firm is diversifying its manufacturing operations beyond China amid ongoing US-China trade tensions and potential new tariffs on semiconductor imports.
