Foxconn to invest $1.5b in India as part of expansion plan
Foxconn, the Taiwanese firm that assembles devices for Apple and many other companies, plans to invest over US$1.5 billion in India to meet its operational needs. This is part of the company’s broader expansion plan and follows its revenue growth in South Asia.
Earlier this year, Foxconn announced plans to double its workforce and investment in India by 2024.
