Rishen Kapoor, co-founder and former CEO of the SaaS startup Toplyne, has rejoined the investment team at Peak XV Partners.

He shared this announcement on his LinkedIn, expression his intention to return to the venture capital firm.

Kapoor co-founded Toplyne in 2021. The AI-powered platform helped product-led businesses convert free users into paying customers, with clients like Canva, Grafana, and BrowserStack.

However, Toplyne ceased operations in October 2024 due to challenges in scalability and product-market fit.

Kapoor’s return to Peak XV aligns with a growing trend of Indian startup founders moving into venture capital roles.
