India-based super.money, described as Flipkart’s fintech arm, offers payments, credit cards, loans, fixed deposits, and other financial services. It is rolling out AI agents that can shop on Flipkart and buy digital gold when prices hit user-set levels.

CEO Prakash Sikaria said the tools are rolling out now and should reach the full customer base within two months.

Sikaria said the app has about 20 million monthly active users. He added that super.money could later extend the agents beyond Flipkart shopping to bill payments and investments.

The initial tools will be free, before possible monetization through options such as subscriptions.

Super.money launched in 2024 and competes in India’s crowded fintech market with Google Pay and Paytm, which offer transactions through the Unified Payments Interface, or UPI.

The gold feature also adds a regulatory wrinkle because unregulated digital gold products are not overseen by the Securities and Exchange Board of India, or SEBI, according to a 2025 public warning.
