TravClan, an India-based travel tech startup, has raised US$5 million in funding from Flipkart and August One, along with debt financing from Trifecta Capital.

It said it will use the funds to expand its global supply network, improve its technology and AI capabilities, and strengthen destination operations in international markets.

The company provides a platform and fulfillment infrastructure for travel businesses.

It supports pricing, itinerary creation, bookings, payments, customer communication, and on-ground support for flights, hotels, activities, and international holiday packages.

TravClan said more than 15,000 travel agents in India use its platform.

The startup added that it processes over US$100 million in annual travel sales.

It also said about 40% of its business now comes from Tier II and Tier III cities in India.
