Fiuu secures JCB payment license in three SEA markets

Fiuu, a Southeast Asian payments company, said it had secured a JCB direct acquiring license in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. This lets Fiuu process JCB card transactions directly rather than through intermediaries.

The company said Thailand was the next market. It added that direct acquiring gives merchants clearer visibility into transactions across Southeast Asia.

Fiuu was rebranded from Razer’s fintech arm and had previously secured Visa direct acquiring status in the same three markets.

Fiuu said the license expands merchant access to JCB’s global base of 181 million cardholders. The company also reported US$13 billion in total payment volume for fiscal year 2025.
