US IT firm Insight brings cyber defense service to SG, APAC

US-based IT services company Insight Enterprises said on October 28 that its Managed Exposure Defense service is now available in Singapore and across Asia Pacific. The offering was launched on June 1.

The service combines continuous threat exposure management, or CTEM, patching, software supply chain risk tools, remediation support, and 24/7 managed extended detection and response, or XDR, under one contract and delivery team.

It also maps exposures across endpoints, cloud systems, identities, and applications.

CTEM is a continuous process for identifying, assessing, and prioritizing cyber exposures most likely to be exploited, allowing organizations to address the most serious issues first.

The launch comes as researchers warns that AI can shorten the time between vulnerability disclosure and exploitation. International Data Corporation (IDC0 has also reported growth in Asia Pacific spending on security services.
