FinTechSpace teams up with Japan VCs to expand Taiwan startups
FinTechSpace, a Taiwan fintech innovation hub run by the Institute for Information Industry for the Taiwan Financial Services Roundtable, said it brought five Taiwanese startups to the RAMEN TECH Global Summit 2026 in Fukuoka in early October to find partners in Japan and expand overseas.
The delegation joined a matchmaking session co-hosted by FinTechSpace, Kyushu-based venture capital firm GxPartners, and CDIB Capital Group.
It also met representatives from more than 19 regional banks and venture capital firms at an event hosted by FFG Venture Business Partners, a subsidiary of Fukuoka Financial Group that Dealroom lists as a startup investor.
FinTechSpace said the trip led to more than 50 business meetings and created opportunities for future proof-of-concept projects.
The five startups presented products in digital asset security, AI anti-money laundering, digital identity authentication, and smart wealth management.
