Abound, a financial platform for the Indian diaspora in the US, has raised US$14 million in seed funding, led by Near Foundation with participation from Circle Ventures, Times Internet, and others.

The company has processed over US$150 million in remittances and reported US$87 million in gross merchandise value (GMV) from rewards.

With more than 500,000 users, Abound has achieved 50% month-on-month revenue growth in the past six months.

The funding will support Abound’s product expansion, technology infrastructure, and growth in product, engineering, and marketing teams.

The company plans to develop financial solutions for Indian Americans, including remittances and cross-border financial services.

Abound also integrates Near blockchain technology to improve scalability, efficiency, and security, with plans to introduce high-yield savings products and cross-border credit solutions.
