Finnish healthtech firm Oura open to IPO, no set timeline yet: CEO
Oura Health CEO Tom Hale said taking the company public is an option, but no timeline has been set.
He told The New York Times that Oura has reached the scale and growth levels needed for a potential IPO and will announce plans when the time is right.
He did not comment on reports that the company is raising new funding at a nearly US$11 billion valuation.
Oura, based in Finland, makes health-tracking rings and has seen rapid growth.
The company recently projected US$1 billion in revenue for 2025, double its 2024 figure.
Hale also addressed concerns about data privacy, stating that protecting user data is a priority and is “nonnegotiable.”
