Figma, Cursor edit plugin becomes open source

A plugin enabling bi-directional edits between Cursor and Figma has been open-sourced following its initial development as an internal tool at Grab.

The plugin was created by Sonny Lazuardi, a design UX engineer, to improve workflow within his team.

According to its developer, the tool has since been adopted by over 33,600 Figma users, received 5,300 GitHub stars, and has been forked more than 530 times.

The open-sourcing aims to make the plugin accessible to a wider group of Figma users.
