SiMa.ai, a chip and software startup that develops technology for robots, drones, cameras, and other devices to run AI on-device, raised a US$150 million series C at a US$1.45 billion valuation.

Fidelity Management & Research Company and Amplify co-led the round, with Alter Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital, and StepStone Group also participating.

Founded in 2018 by Krishna Rangasayee, the former COO of chipmaker Groq, SiMa.ai said the new funding brings its total capital raised to more than US$500 million.

The company said it is readying a generative edge AI platform.

According to PitchBook, SiMa.ai was previously valued at US$960 million after raising a US$85 million series B in July 2025.

SiMa.ai has also collaborated with L&T Technology Services on product innovation in mobility, healthcare, industrial automation, and robotics.
