Mark Liu, former chairman of TSMC, has joined the board of directors at Micron Technology to enhance its AI development efforts.

Micron’s chairman and CEO, Sanjay Mehrotra, highlighted Liu’s extensive semiconductor experience as a key asset for the company’s AI opportunities in data centers and edge computing.

Liu spent over 30 years at TSMC, playing a crucial role in its expansion, including the development of advanced fabrication facilities.

Before retiring in 2024, he held leadership positions such as co-CEO and executive chairman. He also previously worked at Intel and AT&T Bell Laboratories.
