Malachyte, a US-based ecommerce software startup, has raised US$10 million in seed funding to expand distribution and hire product and commercial staff.

The company lists Siddharth Motwani as co-founder and CEO, Ian Anderson as co-founder and CTO, and Shivaditya Sinha as co-founder and COO.

Motwani and Anderson previously worked at Spotify, while Sinha’s background includes venture capital and consulting.

Malachyte said its system updates online storefronts in real time using signals such as clicks, searches, and device context, instead of relying mainly on past purchases or logged-in profiles.

Motwani said Fun.com saw 141% year-on-year growth in recommendation revenue after the platform went live in fall 2025.

Malachyte said it had been developing and testing the technology since 2024.

The product has been available to Shopify merchants through a native integration since June 2026, while larger retailers can connect through its application programming interface.

The round was co-led by Bessemer Venture Partners and Gradient, with Harpoon Ventures participating.
