WaveForms AI, a new AI startup, has secured US$40 million in seed funding led by venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz.

This investment values the San Francisco-based company at US$200 million.

Founded by former OpenAI lead researcher Alexis Conneau, WaveForms AI aims to improve verbal interactions between humans and machines using AI audio software.

The software is designed to recognize emotional cues and adjust dynamically to enhance conversation.
