Ex-Microsoft, Tesla leaders raise $25m for AI startup Pi

Pi, an Israeli-American cybersecurity startup with offices in San Francisco and Tel Aviv, has raised US$25 million in a series A round led by Third Point Ventures, bringing its total funding to about US$35 million.

The round also included George Kurtz, Yevgeny Dibrov, and Nadir Izrael. It follows a US$10 million seed round in early 2025 led by Brightmind Partners.

Founded in 2025 by chief executive Guy Arazi and CPO Yoni Ramon, who previously worked at Microsoft and Tesla, Pi develops AI software that prioritizes and helps patch vulnerabilities.

The platform analyzes code, cloud infrastructure, internal communications, and past security incidents. The company has about 23 employees.

Pi is already working with xAI, and one of its first customers is Navan, where a security executive said the product proposes fixes for 90% of bugs reported to his team and can cut remediation time to minutes.

Pi’s approach could also face data-governance scrutiny because the platform analyzes companies’ internal code and communications.
