Ex-Biofourmis CEO raises $10m for healthtech startup OutcomesAI
OutcomesAI, a Boston-based healthcare company using AI to support nursing, has raised US$10 million in seed funding led by SantΓ© Ventures.
The company was founded by Kuldeep Singh Rajput, former CEO and founder of biotechnology unicorn Biofourmis.
Rajput stepped down from Biofourmis in August last year, a month after 120 employees were laid off.
OutcomesAI combines AI voice agents with licensed nurses to handle patient calls, triage, follow-ups, and virtual care.
The company said the funding will help it expand into health systems, virtual care programs, and pharmaceutical partnerships.
Current nursing shortages and high demand for care have driven interest in new approaches to managing patient needs.
As part of the investment, executives from SantΓ© Ventures, AVIA, and Tempus AI will join OutcomesAIβs board.
