eSIM provider Truely has secured US$3.5 million in funding led by 1982 Ventures, a Singapore-based VC focusing on fintech startups.

It also had contributions from Beenext and Kopital Ventures, alongside angel investors including former Airbnb executives JJ Chai and Kum Hong Siew.

This funding will allow Truely to broaden its product offerings, including the development of B2B services tailored for travel operators and airlines.

Since its launch in July 2023, the service has enabled travelers to access mobile data in over 200 destinations.
