Equinix, a global digital infrastructure firm, announced plans to invest approximately US$500 million in Thailand over the next decade.

This strategy includes the acquisition of land in Bangkok for about US$34 million to enhance the region’s digital infrastructure.

Equinix’s expansion aligns with Thailand’s Cloud-First policy. It also responds to the country’s rising demand for digital services.

The company plans to establish two International Business Exchange (IBX) data centers near Bangkok’s main interconnection ecosystem. These centers are expected to offer over 3,375 cabinets at full buildout.
