Employment Hero buys co-founder’s other company for $43.4m
Australian HR software company Employment Hero has acquired Employment Innovations, a professional services firm owned by co-founder Ben Thompson, for US$43.4 million.
The acquisition was finalized in April 2024, as detailed in a recent regulatory filing.
Financial documents filed with the corporate regulator show that Employment Innovations reported a net loss of nearly US$1 million after tax during the latest financial year.
