Sydney-based Employment Hero has acquired Canadian employment platform Humi in a deal valued at over CA$100 million (around US$69.6 million), according to its announcement on Thursday.

This marks Employment Hero’s entry into the Canadian market, expanding its reach to serve over two million employees and 300,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) globally.

Humi will continue its operations under Canadian leadership, offering its customers access to Employment Hero’s payroll, HR, and benefits management tools customized for Canadian business.

The partnership aims to support Canada’s one million SMEs while driving innovation.

This acquisition aligns with Employment Hero’s strategy to grow internationally, leveraging Humi’s local expertise and established presence to strengthen its global footprint.
