Elon Musk’s Grok labels owner as misinformation source

Elon Musk’s AI system, Grok, has identified Musk as a significant source of misinformation on his social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

The finding emerged following a query from user Gary Koepnick about prominent misinformation spreaders on the platform.

Grok attributed Musk’s influence to his large follower base. This gives his messages the potential to impact real-world events, particularly during critical situations like elections.

The AI pinpointed criticism over Musk’s posts in areas such as politics, health issues like Covid-19, and conspiracy theories.

The system noted that Musk’s engagement with content from controversial figures might contribute to the spread of misinformation.
