Elon Musk’s brain tech startup Neuralink hits $9b valuation
Neuralink, the brain-implant company founded by Elon Musk, has raised US$600 million in funding. This brings its valuation to US$9 billion, according to sources familiar with the matter.
This funding follows a valuation of US$3.5 billion in late 2023, as reported by Pitchbook.
The company has implanted brain chips in three patients, including a man with ALS.
He demonstrated the device’s capabilities by speaking through the chip in a video shared on Musk’s platform, X, last month.
