Los Angeles-based Alcon Entertainment has initiated legal action against Tesla Inc., Elon Musk, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

The lawsuit alleges copyright infringement due to AI-generated imagery used at Tesla’s “We, Robot” event.

Alcon asserts that unauthorized art resembling scenes from the 2017 film “Blade Runner 2049” was employed.

The imagery was reportedly created using an AI generator without Alcon’s consent.

Alcon, which owns the film’s copyright, claims it denied a late request to use the film’s visuals before the event on 10 October.

Despite this refusal, the lawsuit accuses Tesla of using altered imagery during its presentation.
