Elon Musk and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman are in a public clash over the Stargate AI infrastructure project, which involves a partnership led by Donald Trump, OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank.

Trump recently promoted the project, highlighting the US$500 billion investment plan, with US$100 billion already committed.

Musk responded by questioning the validity of the investment, claiming SoftBank has far less secured capital.

Altman invited Musk to visit the Texas site, defending the project’s benefits to the country.

The feud between Musk and Altman dates back years, originating from disputes over OpenAI’s leadership and mission.
