Elon Musk faces legal battle over Twitter severance claims
Elon Musk faces a legal challenge over compensation claims from former Twitter executives.
A judge recently allowed former CEO Parag Agrawal and others to proceed with their claims against Musk, alleging he dismissed them to avoid severance payments just as he finalized his acquisition of Twitter in 2022.
The executives claim their termination prevented them from resigning and receiving severance pay.
Musk bought Twitter for US$44 billion and renamed it as X Corp. Since then, he has disputed back pay claims from several laid-off employees.
